From Talk to Action: Implementing System-level Investing

Investors big and small, institutional and individual are confronting risks that are more global, interconnected and destabilizing than ever before. The COVID-19 pandemic with its’ resulting fallout on society and the economy is but one example; ongoing environmental degradation related to climate change and sudden shocks to our financial system like the Global Financial Crisis are a few more. While awareness of why investors need to care about these systemic risks is increasing, what to do about them has been less clear.

At SOCAP 2020, experts from The Investment Integration Project (TIIP) and Domini Impact Investments will explore what is meant by “system-level investing” and how investors can intentionally set out to manage their impacts on the largest, most important global systems. In addition to getting the basics, attendees will be able to rotate through three breakout sessions that will provide a deep dive on (a) setting systemic goals, (b) leveraging advanced techniques, and (c) evaluating results. Panelists include:

  • William Burckart, TIIP President and co-founder
  • Robert Dannhauser, TIIP advisor
  • Carole Laible, Chief Executive Officer, Domini Impact Investments LLC

This panel is sponsored by Envestnet and Federated Hermes. It will be held on 10/22 at 10:30 am PT. Learn more and register here.
